Thank you to all student organizations and advisors for your dedication this year! On behalf of the SLiCE Office, we congratulate you and all our award winners at the 7th Annual SOAR Awards.  

The Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement (SLiCE) Office organizes the SOAR awards to thank all student organizations and their advisors for their contributions throughout the year, as well as recognizes groups and individuals in the following categories: leadership, marketing, programming, organizational achievement, community service, integrity and advising.

SOAR is free to attend. All student organizations' members and advisors, as well as CSU students faculty, and staff whom support Registered Student Organizations are welcome to attend.

Award Guidelines

• All applications and nominations for awards must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
• Applications/nominations must be submitted electronically using the links to the right.
• Hard copy materials will only be accepted as a supplement in the Marketing category. These additional materials should be submitted to the SLiCE office by the deadline above.
• Most categories allow for both nomination and self-nomination for either groups or individuals (Please see specific award categories for further information).
• Individual Leadership awards are by nomination only. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
• A student organization may apply for or be nominated for more than one award.
• Only organizations, advisors and individuals that are members of Registered Student Organizations as recognized by the SLiCE office are eligible to receive awards.
• All applications and related material must be student produced.
